It Started With One Car…

"I couldn’t find a car perfume that felt truly premium. Everything was synthetic, overpowering, or poorly designed."

The idea for Defeur was born out of frustration. After purchasing my dream car, I realized the interior ambiance was compromised by cheap, chemical-smelling air fresheners dangling from the mirror.

A luxury vehicle deserves a luxury scent. I wanted something that mirrored the craftsmanship of the leather seats and the precision of the engine a fragrance that whispered elegance rather than shouting it.

Our roots

Inspired by India’s Perfume Capital

To create a scent worthy of luxury, we traveled to Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh - the Grasse of the East. Here, the ancient art of 'Deg Bhapka' distillation has been preserved for centuries.

We partnered with multi-generational master perfumers to extract the purest essential oils, blending traditional Indian botanicals with modern, sophisticated notes suitable for enclosed automotive spaces.
